Department of Investments

The activities of the DIRECTORATE FOR INVESTMENTS are conducted within the following organizational unites:

1. DEPARTMENT FOR INVESTMENT IN EXISTING FACILITIES
2. DEPARTMENT FOR INVESTMENT IN NEW FACILITIES

1. DEPARTMENT FOR INVESTMENT IN EXISTING FACILITIES performs the following tasks:

• Development of investment plans,
• Preparation of reports on project implementation,
• Inspection of investment-technical documentation.

Development of investment plans

• Development of Methodology and guidelines for investment plans,
• Coordination and collection of data for development of investment plans,
• Development of investments plan (annual, three-year and five-year) as part of the preparation of Consolidated Business plan of MH ERS,
• Development of investment plan ( annual, three-year and five-year) as part of the Parent company’s Business plan,
• Development of Revised investment plans at the level of MH ERS and Parent company.

Preparing reports on the realization of investments

• Continuous monitoring of the realization of investments at the level of MH ERS,
• Preparation of reports (quarterly, semi-annual, nine-months and annual) on the realization of investments as part of the consolidated report on business operation of MH ERS,
• Preparation of reports (quarterly, semi-annual, nine-months and annual) on the realization of investments as part of the report on business operations of Parent company,
• Creation of presentation material on business operations of MH ERS.

Inspection of investment and technical documentation

• Inspection of investment and technical documentation in order to prove the validity of investment
• Giving opinion for approval regarding the realization of investments exceeding 100.000 BAM.

Maintenace of Head office of the Parent company

• Maintenance of elevators, 10/0,4 kV substation, thermo-technical and hydro-installations, maintenance of construction section, all in accordance with individual annual Contracts on regular maintenance of Head Office of MH ERS. ,

2. DEPARTMENT FOR INVESTMENT IN NEW FACILITIES performs the following tasks:

• Planning and organization of development of investment-technical documentation for new facilities,
• Preparation of investments and engineering,
• Monitoring the realization of investments in new facilities.

Planning and organization of development of investment-technical documentation for new facilities

• Preliminary investment-technical analyses
• Proposing investments,
• Collection and analyzing of available maps (hydrological, hydro-meteorological, geological, geophysical etc.),
• Preparation of project task,
• Planning and coordination of development of Conceptual design, Feasibility Study, Basic design and Main design
• Coordination in revision of technical documentation.

Preparation of investments and engineering

• Coordination in providing investment funds,
• Participation in preparation of Call for Bids, selection of bidders and drafting contracts,
• Preparation and organization of engineering activities,
• Coordination and participation in securing permits and approvals for the constructions of facilities,
• Participation in drafting planning documents (spatial and regulatory plans).

    Monitoring the realization of investments in new facilities

• Technical supervision of works,
• Coordination and monitoring of the realization of investments,
• Reporting on the realization of investments.

Other activities

• Participation in the preparation of indicative plans,
• Participation in the preparation of studies with different purposes,
• Preparation of professional papers and participation at scientific-professional consultations,
• Creation of presentation materials.
